We're still in full-on recovery mode here in the office, following Kevin Dunn's successful tour through the northeastern states. We need to raise our tired heads in thanks to all the fun folks who made it happen happily -- like our friends Bill at Crooked Beat Records in DC; the good people of the Lily Pad in Cambridge; the fantastic Josh and Cynthia at Mystery Train in Amherst; Ron, Milli, and Marjorie at Permanent Records in Green Point; the wonderful staff of Joe's Pub in the village; and Steve at the Casbah in Durham. A fantastic run of shows, all made possible by people's enthusiasm for Kevin's unique moving-air art. Thank you.
We garnered some especially nice press along the way, including mentions in the New Yorker, Time Out New York, the Boston Globe, the Boston Phoenix, the Weekly Dig, the Amherst Bulletin, the Daily Hampshire Gazette, Vinyl District, and Brooklyn Vegan. Big thanks to those folks as well. Their words, or excerpts thereof, can be found on our handy No Great Lost reviews page.
So, while we quietly regroup and plan our next little strategic gesture, please enjoy this clip of Kevin and company performing "Nam" from the anthology, live at the Lily Pad in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Stay for the end -- you don't want to miss the awesome Ebow solo!
